Michael D. Crotty
Founder and President
Michael Crotty has over twenty years of experience in the home textiles industry as the President of TexStyle, Inc and its China subsidiary, TexStyle Asia (Shanghai) Co., Ltd which he founded in 2001. In June of 2007, he established MKT & Associates, LLC to capitalize on his expertise in building networks between Chinese and US industries. In addition to textiles and apparel, MKT has expanded its scope and formed several strategic alliances with Chinese companies to export Clean Technology products and services and advanced electronics, navigation and avionics products to China. Michael has a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ. He is a member of the National Coal Council, a federal advisory to the Secretary of Energy. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of several entities, including the Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association’s Cincinnati Chapter, and as an Alumni Advisor for the Thunderbird Alumni Association.

Amy K. Scharfenberger
Partner, EVP of Textile Sourcing and Business Development
Amy Scharfenberger has over 15 years of experience in the Textile industry with proven successes in supply chain management, new business development, sales, and marketing. Prior to joining MKT & Associates, LLC, Amy’s most recent previous position was Director of Materials Management for Standard Textile Co., Inc., a multi-million dollar healthcare and hospitality textile firm where she and her team managed global sourcing and assisted in developing the supply chain for their newer Hospitality Decorative Division. In addition to her experience in the textile industry, she spent time working for Fortune 500 companies in the paper Industry and also owned her own business, Market Direct, which she built up successfully and sold. Amy has a BA in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati, in Cincinnati, OH, and an MBA, also from UC, with a concentration in Finance and International Business.
